Hah! This time it wasn't me who miscounted!
OK, I'll just go with the funny title.
Lance, can you do the clock in a way that it displays the registered user's time zone, too?

My mistake. It was tubes, not you.
In this post, tubeswell wrote:(I liked the 'Time remaining until we know we have no lives' handle)

So, tubes, what would you like it to be?

Arneb wrote:Lance, can you do the clock in a way that it displays the registered user's time zone, too?

I think it should be UTC adjusted for your local time. No?

Do this for me:

Make a post with the counter and then edit to add the time the post was made and the time is says the last post was made in the counter.

ETA:
So for me, the post time is: Thu Sep 29, 2016 11:18 am
And the counter time is also: Thu Sep 29, 2016 11:18 am
Those times are in my local time and are what it said on the clock, too.

Nut it's no sport if a bot does it! I mean, it count down in, like, a year, couldn't it?

I would be against a bot just churning through it but if it only posted after someone does then it would only half the time.

Right now I'm just triggering it manually every now and then.

If I did it every second it would be over in 11ish days. I don't think anyone wants that.

I could do it every 5 minutes, ever hour, what ever we think might help.

I thought about seeing if I could trigger it after someone else posts but haven't come up with a solution yet. If that's what you guys want, I can try to figure it out.

I could also just add a button that would allow you guys to trigger it manually when ever you want.

Discuss...
