Yeah, not. It's not good for them to be caged 24x7. Which means birdshit, or get rid of the bird, and if I can help it, Sunshine ain't goin' no where. (It really didn't take long for us to bond.)

A strateigically placed hook to hold the leash while you perform the proceedure may help. Some gravel on the ground outside the back door, where I assume you would do this (if the ground there is muddy) may also help. :wink:

Yeah, my tip is get rid of the carpet. (That's much less likely to cause marital strife than trying to get rid of the dog.) We put in ceramic tile through out all of the house except the bedrooms. Run the vacuum and you're done. :wink:
