Misleading Movie Synopsis.

While posting a quote from Ice-cold in Alex it occured to me that it might be an unknown film to many, particularly the Michikids. So to obfuscate:

Ice-cold in Alex; hot nurses, cold beer and extreme off-roading star in this ultimate road movie.

Star Trek: Nemesis: After decades of oppression, the ruler of the Vampire planet wreaks his revenge by plotting to eradicate all life on a distant planet that never did anything to him. Meanwhile, a woman starship driver gets the Enterprise into a wreck, and a lovable android learns to sing. You'll laugh until you cry.

Smokey and the Bandit: rednecks amuse themselves.

Hmmm, not very misleading.

Brian Griffin (Family Guy) summarizes Blair Witch:
Ok they're in the woods. The camera keeps on moving. I think they're looking for some witch or something. I don't know, I wasn't listening. Nothing's happening. Nothing's happening. Something about a map. Nothing's happening... It's over. A lot of people in the audience look pissed.

Seemed about right. I only saw portions of that movie, myself. A few from my library:

Soylent Green
Charlton Heston discovers that you really are what you eat.

2001: A Space Odyssey
Astronaut discovers that space travel really is a trip.

28 Days Later
Zombie invasion hits Britain. Only the military has weaponry to stop them, but don't worry; they're here to help you. Women and children first, please.

Apollo 13
Apollo 11 and Mankind's first footsteps on another world weren't enough for a major Hollywood movie, but skip ahead two missions to a routine, boring Moon landing, and suddenly you have a story worthy of Tom Hanks.

I'd like to add that Apollo 13 is not a sequel.

Robinson Crusoe

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford:
Robert Ford learns that not only is he a coward, but Jesse is too... living in his manic depressed mind whilst crying about bitch-smacking some kid. After realizing Robert and Jesse have so much in common, the twat kills him anyway and then continues to kill him on stage hundreds of more times before finally being killed himself.
If I were making this up, it wouldn't be so funny.
