What protection does Section 230 provide?
Section 230 says that "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider." This federal law preempts any state laws to the contrary: "[n]o cause of action may be brought and no liability may be imposed under any State or local law that is inconsistent with this section." The courts have repeatedly rejected attempts to limit the reach of Section 230 to "traditional" Internet service providers, instead treating many diverse entities as "interactive computer service providers."

233 is an irregular prime, a full reptend prime, a cousin prime, a Chen prime, and a sexy prime. It is an Eisenstein prime of the form 3n − 1 with no imaginary part. Since 233 × 2 + 1 = 467, another prime, 233 is a Sophie Germain prime. 233 is also a prime triplet (with 227 and 229).

It is a Fibonacci number, being the sum of 89 and 144. Being an odd-indexed Fibonacci number, it is also a Markov number, appearing in solutions to the Markov Diophantine equation: (1, 89, 233), (89, 233, 610), (233, 610, 426389), ...

In base 10 there is no integer that added up to its own digits yields 233, hence 233 is a self number. In base 3, the sum of 233's digits is composite, no smaller prime has this property.

{Who the hell figures this stuff up? Seems to me they need to get laid REAL bad ...}

The Whys of Mating: 237 Reasons and Counting

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/31/science/31tier.html

After asking nearly 2,000 people why they’d had sex, the researchers have assembled and categorized a total of 237 reasons — everything from “I wanted to feel closer to God” to “I was drunk.”

Well, that pretty much sums it up for me.

"Hey, honey, want to get closer to God?"
"Is that what you are calling it now?" :glp-1rof1:

or ...
"Does that tatoo say God?"
"Yeah, but get *closer* and it will say "Good Wood." :glp-rimshot:

Someone stop me ...

240 is the highest possible winning score in the German card game, Skat, during rounds without doubled scores: Grand hand mit Vieren, Schneider und schwarz angesagt (the lowest winning score being 18 ). :glp-blobr:

In the higly unlikely event of someone loosing such a rare game, the score would be reversed and doubled (-480). :ut-behead:

Ross 248 lies about 10.3 light-years (ly) away in the northwestern part (23:41:54.0+44:09:32:C~, ICRS 2000.0) of Constellation Andromeda, the Chained Maiden -- south of Lambda Andromedae and near Kappa and Iota Andromedae. It is too faint to be seen by the naked eye. The star was discovered in 1925 by Frank Elmore Ross ...

Wow! Kinky astronomy.

Evidence is mounting that 251 million years ago, long before the dinosaurs dominated the Earth, a meteor the size of Mount Everest smashed into what is now northern Australia, heaving rock halfway around the globe, triggering mass volcanic eruptions, and wiping out all but about ten percent of the species on the planet.
