The Wikipedia Game

Postby Frogmarch » Wed Dec 19, 2007 1:30 pm

In this game a poster posts two words(or phrases) and then the next person has to connect those words using links on wikipedia from the first page of the first word, through other pages to the page of the second word. And then you post the sequence.

for example, Germany and Lollipops

Germany > German Cuisine > Cakes > Sugar > Candy > Lollipops

so the first two words are:

machine gun & cake

Well, I suppose I could have gone the other way - but then, there's always the disambiguation links. Very well, then. A more difficult one (or so I think).

Martin Luther - Basketball

Edited to add: Having forgotten a few things about basketball, this one wasn't as hard as I had thought - but it's still a little more involved than GWC - GW ;)

I found a synekdoche in my Big Mac, and accordingly will be suing McDonalds. Case to be reported later on Wikipedia.

{OK, so I cheated and lied. Or did I? Care for a bite?}

Sorry. Someone with more time on their hands, go for it.
