What is it?

Zooming out too much or turning on the labels is cheating.

Well, good thing it's the one in the picture then!

How did you determine it was in Moscow?

Nope, can't find a way to post either Bing or Googlemap without a label saying what it is.

If I may, this is my entry.

I don't think there's any labels on there, but Google automatically logs me in when I navigate the link, so your results may differ. If they do, let me know.

No tags or identifiers for me.

I clicked out twice since it was a bit "flarey" until the central feature was about 600 feet accross. I'm guessing a hole in the ground?

Nope, it's the other way around. Bing has better pictures of the location, but I can't find a way to obscure or hide the generic labels.

I zoomed out, to get an idea where it was, so that's cheating.

[spoiler]Is it a place where one might go rock climbing?

A rocky outcrop, I'm guessing in the Dakotas (from your location).

Oh, I know what it is.

I cheated though, I zoomed out to get a general idea of the area, and made a guess. I think used Wikipedia to determine that my guess was wrong, but that the correct answer was not too far to the southeast. Then I guessed correctly.

Ok, so it is a rocky outcrop to the northwest of Mactep's wrong guess.

Mount Rushmore.

Is that even in the Dakotas?

Edit: Yes it is, so I'll go with that.

It is a rocky outcrop to the southeast of Mactep's wrong guess.

I believe you are correct, but maybe MM should confirm.

South Dakota. My wrong guess was in Wyoming.

Sorry about my absence - it isn't Mt. Rushmore, although this location is indeed in the Black Hills of South Dakota. In fact, I've heard claims that you can see Mt. Rushmore from here.

I believe that you can arrange for a tour to the top, but they discourage private rock climbing (it may have something to do with the occasional detonation of carefully placed explosive compounds and the removal of the debris).

I clicked on "photos" to see if that would help, it did, it showed me what it is. D'oh!

I would never have got it, I had heard of it but had forgotten completely.
