Cracklins

I treated the physicians of my department to a Christmas dinner tonight, in a restaurant situated in one of Potsdam's historic city gates. The choices for the main course were:

Grilled goose leg in a chestnut sauce, with cooked red cabbage and raw potato dumplings
Steamed zander with potatoes and an assortment of vegetables
Vegetarian lasagne with all sorts of veeggies, sour cream and ewe's cheese.
