Correct. The US remake replaces the German bank robbers with Brazilian models who rob banks, which tells you all you need to know.

Crivvens. Surely Luc Besson wasn't involved in that?

He is named as producer but i suspect his involvement was simply cashing the cheque and covering his eyes.

Don't know the horror film.

Clue - the film is a remake, and is almost 70 years younger than the original.

Nope. It's a remake of a horror film that was originally made during the second world war.

Nope, although his dad did meet this film in 1943 (5 years before Abbott and Costello met the protagonist from it).

OK, so some kind of Frankenstein film came out in the last couple of years, with me being completely unaware of it.

OK, I'm highly confident that I have it, but had to use significant Wikipedia research based on the clues given in the thread. Is that legal?

The Wikipedia page for the film I mentioned cites a filming location that shows up as a label on the map if you zoom out a bit, so I think this is it . . .

The Wolf Man 1941, meets Frankenstein in 1943, who himself met Abbott and Costello in 1948. Wolf Man remade in 2010.

The Wolfman it is! The 1948 flim Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein features the same character and actor (Lon Chaney, Jr as Larry Talbot) as the 1941 original film (and Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man), although he's not named in the title. I know I shouldn't, but I love werewolf films. The shitter the better, too.

What about that one that Michael J Fox did? That was quite shitty.

Now I have to think of a good one . . .

Very shitty, but I prefer the films where the werewolves do the traditional things like bite people, not the ones where they play basketball.

The first film prominently featuring a villa that springs to mind is the almost certainly wrong Two Days In The Valley.

Not the one I'm thinking of. Since I don't know the film, I can't say for sure that they didn't use this one :)
