[town planning aside] Cumbernauld is a sprawling New Town, built in the 1950s to move people out of Glasgow tenements into better housing in a better environment. It isn't the worst place, though it does have far too many roundabouts and it all looks the same. [/town planning aside]

The fact that it is girls on the football field is co-incidence but apt.
