I can't see any guesses from the LlamaLlord.

IMDB says this film fits in these genres: Crime | Drama | Romance | Thriller

Ah, I took his "There's three of them?" comment to be a guess. I'm assuming now it is a reference back to the trilogy comments.

I assumed it was a reference to the cornetto trilogy, but if it's a guess I'm sure he'll be along to explain it!

Nope, not a guess. It was a reference back to there being 3 in The End of the World series. I had a hard time getting through the one.

It's not a The End of the World trilogy, it's the cornetto trilogy - so-called as each of the three films features a different flavour of cornetto ice cream. The other two films are very good! Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Oh, okay. I've seen Shawn of the Dead and yes, that's a great flick! I just looked up Hot Fuzz and that looks good too. I set a trap for it on my DVR, so if it comes on it'll grab it.

ETA: Okay, after reading about the trilogy, now I'm going to need to watch the 3 in order.

Yup, still on it, not Terminator.

Christopher Walkin is in it, but doesn't dance.

There's no such thing as "too many cowboy films". For landscape comparison, I'm taking a bunch of folk here tomorrow, to explain stuff to them. Much more the kind of scenery I'm used to.

Are there extra-terrestrial aliens in it?

Not John Ford, no aliens. Sort of a western but not a traditional western.

Ok, so I was pissing into the wind with "Bad day at Black Rock".

Various parts of this town have been in at least three films, at least one of which has already featured in this thread.

I've never seen "Bad Day At Black Rock", so would never have even guessed it.

This fresh clue looks very familiar indeed, and I think is in loads of films. I'll start the ball rolling with Time Banditsh (eg, the Sean Connery scenes in Time Bandits).

I can't see anywhere that Time Bandits was shot here though there is a tenuous link to one of the films that was.

Spoiler:
It's a Bond, but not a Connery Bond.
