Yup. 80s sitcom.

Middle aged guy in a cardigan? Newhart? Something like that. I recall seeing a few of them but had no idea what the background was, it was simply a low key comedy.

Dang it, I didn't even get to the Larry and his brothers Darryl and Darryl clue. Also, the whole dreaming psychologist thing wasn't revealed until the final scene of the final show.

I knew the answer without even looking at the clue (which I couldn't look at, being in the land of the censored internet until last night).

It was one of those shows that Border TV used as filler, so it would show up at odd times, out of order and with no context. I probably only saw half a dozen of them. I didn't understand the psychologist clue and I wouldn't have had the context to understand it if I saw that episode.

Correct. That court was shown in the intro but I'm not sure they ever said that was where it was set. This was another show which appeared sporadically during the 80s. I was about to say my teenage years but I must have been in my 20s.

That was the show that gave us Brent Spiner as Bob Wheeler.
