ETA - I know it's used a lot by the BBC. Antiques Roadshow, Brideshead Revisited, that sort of thing. I doubt that's what you have in mind.

Yup. In addition to filming Highlands a bit, it filmed in Noo Yoik.

I was pretty confident, having seen the film many times in my youth to see my friend in it.
