A movie directed by a guy who directed the Twin Peaks TV series in the '80s?

I'll dip into my almost empty bag of German Films That I Know Of and pull out Run Lola Run. Which I seem to recall appearing in a Location, Location, Location game.

If that's it, the DVD I recently bought is sitting in the case, next to the television, to be played soon.

If its not Run LoLa Run (by some strange twist), could it be one of those 'Girl who played with..." movies?

Hilarious movie.

Alright then.

Sex and Nudity:
Rated R for strong brutal bloody violence including disturbing images, strong sexuality, nudity, and language.
There are several strong sex scenes throughout the film.
There are several topless women throughout the film.
A woman tells her boyfriend that she was raped by her father's business partner when she was 13 years old, this is not shown onscreen but you see the man zip up his pants and the girl laying in bed crying and lips bleeding.

Violence and Gore:
A man is beaten to death in the opening scene, the back of his head smashes open and a huge amount of blood and brains spill out.
Two men are shot, one loses a hand and they crawl around on the blood-covered floor trying to find it.
A man is shot several times then blows his own head off with a shotgun, chunks of skull and brain matter splatter on the ground.
A man is covered in kerosene and set on fire.
A man is beaten and kicked, then punched in the face, his nose swells up.
A young girl is shown with a split lip and bloody sheets after being raped.
The aftermath of a car crash is shown, with bloody corpses and a blood-covered woman who dies of her injuries. Later another accident aftermath shows a dying man with a bloody head.

Profanity:
A few F-bombs and other profanity.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:
7/10:
Frequent Smoking.

This sounds familiar but I can't place it. If I have seen it it won't be a horror film.
