The IMDB Parents Guide Game

(Because we don't have enough TV/film related games here)

If anybody's used IMDB, I'm sure you've noticed that each film/TV show has a "Parents Guide" page so that discerning parents can decide whether something is suitable for their children, without going to the bother of watching it themselves first, listing/describing incidents under the categories of sex/nudity, violence/gore, profanity, alcohol/drugs/smoking and frightening/intense scenes. Because these are contributed by normal IMDB users, these are frequently (although, sadly, not always) amusing.

So, inevitably, this is essentially another Guess The Movie game. List a few entries from the parents guide, and the successful guesser steps up to the plate.

To get the ball rolling, what film is this?

A topless woman jumps on a trampoline. This scene is shown twice.

A man slides down a bowling lane looking up the skirts of women (no nudity shown).

A police officer throws a coffee mug at a man's forehead and then pushes him to the floor.

Another man constantly drinks "White Russians" but never goes overboard.

Dave daydreams about his English teacher stripping during class. She takes off her shirt and bra, but her hands are covering her breasts. This is pretty brief, but is crude.

A heterosexual teenaged couple have sexual intercourse behind a store at daytime. We see no nudity, but she is sitting on a guardrail with her legs wrapped around his waist, and there is a lot of thrusting.

A character tries flying from a skyscraper, but falls to his death onto a taxi cab. Not Graphic. This is played for laughs.

A man is forced into an industrial-sized microwave as interrogation. He soon explodes and blood and gore is shown splattering everywhere inside the microwave. Extremely Graphic.

There are possibly over 100 uses of "Fuck".

A minor drug dealer's den is seen. Many people inside are seen smoking marijuana from joints and bongs.

The depiction of an 11-year-old girl committing brutal acts of violence and using very strong language may be considered offensive and unsuitable for kids.

Based purely on the last one, as I've not actually seen the film I'm about to guess - Kick-Ass?

A silhouette of a woman's body can be seen through a silk dress. Very close to nudity.

We see the non-sexual, tribal rear nudity of an Indian tribe.

Violence is shown throughout the film, mainly punching and shooting, and there is some blood and blood splattering in these situations.

1 mouthed use of f--k (very easy to miss)

1 use of s--t

2 uses of son of a b---h

2 uses of b-----d

2 uses of g*ddamn

Several uses of d--n and what the h--l.

Skeletons could be frightening.

I don't know what film it is, but I look forward to the answer so I can add it to my viewing list.

I think you've almost certainly seen it. It's a very, very, famous and popular film indeed. I'll need to watch it again though, as that 1 mouthed use of f--k must be extremely easy to miss, as I've never caught it during any of my (many) viewings.

OK, I did Google, but I had a specific film in mind before I Googled, and it turns out I was right.

The "skeletons" were very helpful.

A ten second scene shows two characters climax having sex. They are clothed, but afterwards the woman walks out of shot and her buttocks are briefly visible.

A man roughly manhandles a woman and at one point threatens to punch her, bringing his fist towards her face. Later, the man shoots the woman twice and kills her offscreen. No blood.

Strong language. At least 131 "f" words (47 using "mother," 4 used sexually), 69 "s" words, 2 slang terms for male genitals (the "d" and "p" words), 1 slang term each for female genitals and breasts (the "p" and "t" words respectively), 52 asses, 12 damns, 8 hells, and 25 uses of "G-damn," 2 of "Jesus," and 1 use of "Jesus Christ" as exclamations 38 uses of the N-word.

Two characters smoke pot in several scenes (bong and pipe).

I do, although I wouldn't consider it worthy of inclusion. That's the beauty of the Parents Guides - they are mainly contributed by nutters and/or comedians.

Pulp Fiction?

It sounds like Tarantino but I'm terrible at remembering films.

Nutters? On the internets! I simply do not believe it.

I have a suspicion that this might be a film you already offered up in the Location game.

Well, if it's Jackie Brown, then I remember your link to the mall car park.

(Samuel L. M. F. Jackson films are a guilty pleasure of mine).

Cool. In that case..

[Sex & Nudity] None, however there is some implication that two characters had a child illegitimately.

Mild profanity, e.g. "damn" or "hell", also "son of a bitch."

An individual is shown with lesions oozing green blood as s/he dies from radiation poisoning.

Further guidance from that film:

Two characters consume a fictional alcoholic beverage which is illegal (and implied to be very potent from the character's reaction to it).

A character runs into a bloody corpse hanging from the ceiling. Two characters shown scarred and/or crippled from battle. A character is very visibly deteriorated from radiation poisoning and dies slowly. Two characters have small parasitic creatures put in their ears and scream in agony. A scene where a character shoots and disintegrates himself with a weapon may also be unsettling to small children.
