No, and demographics have nothing to do with this.

It is definitely a comparison of something between the two candidates. Something that, on the lower end of the scale Trump is much better at, and on the higher end of the scale Hillary is much better at. And I would say that lower and higher may play some significance as well.

Factual statements during the debates, somehow rated for veracity, top-to bottom?

Hmmm, that is so close I think I should give it to you. If you could change just one word, you be dead on.

What a cool kind of graph. Wonder how they undertake the survey?

I read there are fact-checking web sites all over the place, and sentences like "they are drowning in wave after wave of terrible, terrible crime perpetrated by criminal Syrians in Germany since they opened their borders" are factual statements that can be held against püulished data relatively easily.

Except, of cf course, they cannot, because it's all an evil proClinton conspiracy anyway.

OK, it seems to be my turn, so it comes in handy I just discovered this - the obvious question to ask is, boss, what the screaming hell did you do to place Chicago UNDER the clouds, and upside down?

Hm?

It has to do with the Cubs winning the world series and hell freezing over. It's all part of the same phenomena.

That's a weird one.

The buildings look more like reflections than shadows. I can't see a hole in the clouds to allow the light from the nuclear explosion through, but there it is, reflecting off the lake.

That is the correct explanation. Except the nukeyular explosion isn't an explosion but a sustained fusion process.

Indeed, we are seeing the shadows of Chicago's skyline thrown on the surface of Lake Michigan, and reflected from there to the airplane from which the shot was made. The real skycrpers are just covered by the clouds. The non-visibility of the hole in the clouds through which the rays reach the city isn't a problem: Foreshortening will take care of that.

The image was plucked from today's APOD. I hope NASA doesn't mind.

On to you Mactep.

My first thought was something to do with distribution of Muslims, but what is the difference between 100% Green and 100% Blue?

Sunni and Shiite?

But then what are the black areas? There's no black on the legend.

Muslims in North Korea and on the Lesser Antilles? I don't really think so.

Have you been to the Lesser Antilles? (I was surprised about North Korea also.)

LLance already has it though.

Not entirely sure what the black are supposed to be, but on the blue and green, you are absolutely correct.

I must be getting old. I saw posts in this thread, and though, oh, people must be griping at me for not posting a graph . . .

:glp-1rof1:

The downside of winning this game is having to come up with one oneself. Why do I keep forgetting that?

Wow, those black spots really had me distracted. I am willing to be taught about the Lesser Antilles, but North Korea, Taiwan...?

Maybe these black spots denote pockets of smaller Muslim branches, like Sufis or so.

Without the black spots, it's quite obvious. Well done, boss!

Thanks! It was an absolute guess, and the black areas still confuse me. Mactep; is there anything else about it on from the source of the graph?

Here's something a little lighter:

(It would not surprise me if Mactep gets this immediately.)

Nothing political at all. This is purely academic.
