Movies in the real world.

All the game threads. (It's only teenage wasteland.)

Movies in the real world.

Postby Heid the Ba » Fri Oct 04, 2013 12:37 pm

Inspired by my re-writing of Spooks episodes elsewhere, how movies would unfold in the real world.

Die Hard
Scene one, LAX:
John Maclaine: "Taxi! (gets in) Jesus, 2 hour delay on the flight. Nakatomi Plaza and hurry!"

Scene two, Nakatomi Plaza, outside the police perimeter.
JM: "Shit!"

Scene three, a nearby bar.
JM drinks and watches events unfold.

Roll credits.
Get it up ye.

Says it all really

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

The Fast and the Furious.

Character 1: You should see how fast this is.
Character 2: I can drive anything.

Car crashes, both die.
Get it up ye.

Star Wars

"Death Star will be in shooting range in 30" min.

Sky lights up

"Oh, I guess they took out Yavin instead"

Fiery meteorite rain buries rebel base.

Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin stand in front of a window, watching the destruction of the Yavin system.
Tarkin: "And they really thought we would give them thirty minutes to do half an orbit around the planet giving them an opportunity to launch a counterattack"
Vader: "Apparently. Bloody amateurs".
