I'd been going to have a rummage in my Historical Muslims bag, until I noticed the reference to "the press". Somebody of the modern age, then, and western? Use of the fucking stupid word "haters" suggests an American.

They use that word all the time here. Singaporeans, Malaysians, Burmese, Thai, Vietnamese - they all use it.
