I found this the other day and I think it's funny as hell, but I don't understand the literal translation in this context.
The best I can tell is that basically the bat says "you", and the response is "you have". Is that right? And if so, how does it work here?

All translations are correct, and I don't get it either. The Marco Polo hypothesis seems to be good guess, although I even had to look that up because I had never heard of the game.
Maybe the joke is that the insect takes the bat's call as the beginning of a story-continuation game (like here) and gives itself away by picking up the thread ("echoing").
