I know who they are. Now do please show how you conclude that I hate southern rock, we would like to see the deduction. We'll deal with the suck part later (assuming we get that far).

That comes later. We have to establish the "hating southern rock" part on the evidence available first. I doubt we'll even get to the sucking part. . .

ok...this was unexpected

deduction eh?

Ronnie Van-zant...lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd...with songs voted number 3 (Free Bird) and 1 (Sweet Home Alabama) in the top 20 southern rock songs of all time

Johnny Van-zant...took over as lead singer for Skynyrd after Ronnie died in a tragic plane crash

Lynyrd Skynyrd...described by All Music Guide's Stephen Thomas Erlewine as "the definitive Southern rock band, fusing the overdriven power of blues-rock with a rebellious, Southern image and a hard rock swagger." In other words the quintessential Southern Rock band

Donnie Van-zant...member of .38 Special...another great southern rock band...really i just threw him in there because he's Ronnie and Johnny's brother

You answered none of them...meaning that you do not care for any of them...essentially meaning you do not care for Skynyrd (or .38 special but as i said i just threw him in there) meaning that you do not care for southern rock in general

now off topic:

The answer i was hoping to get (although i didnt expect it) was Lacy Van-zant

Correct.

Ronoh55 wrote:meaning that you do not care for any of them...

OK, we'll stipulate that one.

Here is where we get into trouble. How do you even know I don't like their music? Perhaps I don't like them because we once had a business dispute. Or because they ran over my dog once. Or some other reason. How do you know? Furthermore, even if you can establish that I don't like their music, how does mean I don't like southern rock in general? If I don't like vanilla ice cream, does that mean I don't like any kind of ice cream?

Still awaiting proof of your accusation of suckiness. . .

ahh...this is easily explained...you took offence, which i said not to unless you indeed hate southern rock...and I suppose the accustaion of suckiness is merely an opinion

see im somewhat of an elitist when it comes to music...so when someone...in this case even doesnt have the same taste in music as me...i tend to become an ass, which i am working on...but now i must direct you to my sig(i think i out that quote in this sig)

We don't agitate the shoe. . .

 yep, I figured you weren't agitated but I was trying to sound like that commercial when the dispatch guys are talking about the "dots" and the one guy is asking them stupid questions and finally one says, "The dots have work to do. . ." And then the other one adds, "We don't agitate the dots."

I love that one, it cracks me up.
