Hmmmm... a loser in comparison to who? I think she's a 23-year-old reacting badly to the spotlight.

She is a phoney and a fake. She is the product of a producers and ad directors marketing and packaging. She is an icon and idol because we have been told that this is who we should regard as an icon and an idol. They went out and found her. She did not first gain acceptance by the public. She did not work her way to the top. She was tapped by MTV video execs to fill a slot. Her singing and dancing and persona is sub standard. Like I said, she is a phoney and a fake. She is undeserving the fame that she has.

Your efforts to support and defend her is an indication that the marketing and packaging efforts worked. It is not a testament of any talent that she is supposed to have.

Spears even knows this. This is why she suffers from low self-esteem despite her riches. She knows that they are riches as deserving as the riches of Milli Vanilli.

She is deserving of the media attention as much as The Monkeys were deserving of the media attention after they were formed by American executives looking for a pop equivalent of The Beatles.

Spears is the equivalent of someone who has gotten a degree because someone had given her all the answers to the tests. She never studied. She just did what she was told.

First she got attention for being underage and singing about sexual content. The pictorial in Rolling Stone was despicable.

Then, when that no longer sold, she actually got notorieties for "selling" the fact that she was a virgin.

When that no longer sold she was already ingrained in the national psyche.

But since her singing is substandard, just as anyone else who cheats, her fame is no longer fair to people with real ability, talent, ambition and intelligence.

If her talent matched her interest, she would have had grammies by now or at least admiration by her peers. She has neither.

Just because you don't like her doesn't mean she has no talent. She is a fantastic dancer, and her singing,is quite competent. She's certainly no worse than many of the other pop princesses running around. And she definitely isn't a loser.
