Let me be clear on this: Wolverine had told me a while ago, in private, that someone had given his e-mail to spammers. This is an action that is entirely possible, but I do not remember if he named names. However, getting conversations mixed up, there's a possibility he did not specifically name Bill Thompson. At the time, I thought maybe he did, and said such in public; which was the wrong thing to do for a couple reasons.

1) At the time, I had a bad habit of posting things or saying things Wolverine had told to me without his express permission. He's forgiven me almost every time, but this is primarily the reason why (and, plus, it is rude). I have stopped doing that (but I will not stop posting private messages that Thompson sends to me, as I've already made it explicitely clear, in private and in public, that I will post them -- thus, he neglects all need for permissions by sending me anything).

2) It was wrong because I wasn't sure if Thompson was the culprit. It could easily have been any member that was banned by the BAUT. The action was made, but "whodunit" is an issue I do not know about.

I hope this clears up any misunderstandings, and I apologize. This has entirely been my fault. Lance was going off misinformation that I gave.
