Don't. It's always risky, and wrong most times.

Indeed, we're barely hanging on at the moment.

But hang on we did.

One nil.

Played 105, won 55, drawn 21, lost 30.

It would be good if RCC would win at Celtic Park, but I'm not hopeful.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden 3 - 1 Hertha BSC

Unable to hold the ground against a weak relegation candidate? We'll need every little point to prevent the lights from going out.

Played 106, won 55, drawn 21, lost 31

Celtic 1 - 0 Ross County

Decent score, and we were apparently not bad. Hit the bar, had a few chances. Our keeper saved a Celtic penalty, and since the old firm missing a penalty Simply Will Not Do the referee let him have another crack at it. Also saved. Huzzah! We've been awarded exactly zero penalties so far this season by the way.

Played 107, won 55, drawn 21, lost 32.

We earn all our penalties, unlike Celtic.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth 2 - 1 SV Holstein Kiel

Ha! 6-pointer against a top promotion contender, and up in second place we are! Take that, big fat Hamburger SV! Don't hold your breath for this lasting too long though. We are away to the table leader, FC St. Pauli, next week, and after that, it's the next IrU derby. I think my loyalty will be with Hertha for this one, because that is and alway has been my perennial source of suffering since childhood.

Played 108, won 56, drawn 21, lost 32.

In the Rangers derby, Cove Rangers and Brora Rangers drew one each.

Edit: as you were, it's a cup tie. It's in extra time.

We've been running around with a glitch in the count after this,

Arneb wrote:SC Paderborn 0 - 1 SpVgg Greuther Fürth

Not half bad, and we are in fourth place now, only three points and a goal away form a promotion placement.

Hertha BSC 2- 2 Fortuna Düsseldorf

We lost the first round and D'dorf are a promotion contender, so it is an improvement. They squandered a penalty on us, ha!

Played 103, won 53, drawn 21, lost 30.

when I added Played 1, Won 1, Drawn 1 :glp-1doh1: Well, we all knew who would do such a thing, right? The correct Count is

Played 110, won 56, drawn 22, lost 32.

Rangers won 3 -1 after extra time. Doesn't get added to our count though.

Cove beat Brora. Neither Glasgow nor Berwick were playing.

Hertga with a one-off chance to reach the German Cup semifinal, at home to a lower-ranked Second League team. Of course, we are two down even before the half. Recognize a pattern?

Indeed. Every new season, when we scrape by the first round narrowly beating a Fourth-Leaguer, we make a fuss about dreaming of the Final At Home in our own stadium, and we fuck it up. Every. Single. Time. At least I am old enough to remember our last Final participation in I think '78 or '79. 1 -2 against Düsseldorf after extra time, the winner scored from an impossible angle above the goalie who was going down expecting a sharp shot into the short corner. Oh dear.

The French national rugby team seems a pale shadow of its former self.

France 17 - 38 Ireland

Bonus point for Ireland, none for France.

Italy v England and Wales v Scotland tonight.

Ireland dominated almost the whole match. It seemed like the outcome was clear after the first 20 minutes or so.
