I'm liking it. It's filling. No nasty after taste. It's going down real smooth with chicken and fries. In fact, I'm already full, and I haven't even touched upon the majority of my food. :?

OK, I was just there in January, I'll probably be there in July again (Singapore in July is very similar to Singapore in January). I'll be careful :P

You might want to hid this post from hippietrekx. She doesn't like capital 'h's.

Considering I'm not talking about her, I don't really care.

What'll she do? Use a lightsabre? I have a needle, fer pete's sake!

I saw the Antarctica beer everywhere, but I don't think I had any - I did have a fair amount of another Antarctica product...

I tried out Amstel Light. It was pretty good, but not as good as Warsteiner.

We were deployed to Malaysia for about 30 days back in '89. They served Anchor and Tiger beer at room temp (which in Malaysia is 417F  ). That sucked! :(

I'm going into three days off, Sunday - Tuesday. I'll be sure to look for Anchor. I like that Sapporo, too. I may do sushi this weekend. :P

Tonight, I'm enjoying leftovers, Samuel Adams Winter Lager. 8)

Side note:

Kirin seems like a pretty good brand to me. Japanese beer.

I'm going to try the Warsteiner, too. What's it go good with - food wise? Nothing fancy, mind you, I don't cook. I microwave.

Aw, hell, I dunno. I really don't. I don't choose a specific drink with a specific food.

Sushi sounds good, with Sapporo or Kirin...or both.

Friday is date night in the Enzo household, and it's my turn to pick where. I vote Korean sushi bar. I think salmon roe, eel, shrimp tempura roll. And some sunimono salad, or whatever the Koreans call cucumber salad.

An unusual beer I like is Tsing Tao from China.

Hey, try a Lambic from Belgium. Brewed with wild yeast. The Kreik lambics are flavored with black cherry and are mighty tasty.

I'm really glad you liked that. It's a seasonal, so you won't be able to find it much longer until next winter.

I bought the Samuel Adams Mix Pack today. It has Hefewiezen, Scotch Ale, Boston Lager, Black Lager, Boston Ale, and Brown Ale. :P

I tried the Warsteiner yesterday, it was okay.
