BAUT Down?

Postby Dragon Star » Tue May 16, 2006 1:40 am

Has anyone else noticed that BAUT is down? I have never seen it down for more then an hour, and it's been quite a long time now...

I haven't been able to get in since mid-afternoon. It's definitely unusual to be down this long.

Doesn't sound good at all, thanks for the comment ToSeek, because if you didn't know about an update then no one did.

1) Server crashed in a big way
2) It got Hacked
3) Power is down where the Server is located

Hopefully #3....

Now, when GLP goes down, then we'll have plenty of a chance to celebrate.

Damn, it's 6:10 AM here on the East Coast...still no BAUT! I, too, fear that it may have been hacked. I can't abide people who do such things. Hopefully, whatever happened, it's not too severe.

Just heard from Fraser via email. He's clueless, too: He's got a trouble ticket in with the ISP, but they're in Central Time so it'll be another hour or so before anything is done. Right now he can't reach the server at all.

From the length of time it's been down, I would assume that it's the kind of problem that will not "fix itself".

I am also of the opinion that this was "done" by someone.

Yep, I am still experiencing a bit of drag though, but at least it is there.

It was scary for a while...
