I'm trying to figure out how to add my own smilies or photos to GLP. :?

I found the above in the huge website. I'm sure it's not correct. Can anyone help me?

I don't think you can add items to GLP like you can in phpBB.

There has got to be a way. From the link, it is just a matter of finding the right code to use. :-k

Can you find a place where anyone else has done it?

How do certain posters make a thread a thumbnail? I don't want to do that, but that requires code, too. Right? 8-[

I thought I've seen it before. In fact, I believe there was a thread asking the same questions. The response was to ask a 'certain' poster for the knowledge. I don't go to GLP a lot, so I have no idea of how to find it again.

Huh?

Thumbnail - a post which constantly stays on top, until the thumbnail is removed... like a flag in email.

Oh, I get you, sorry. That's done by the administrators. Regular users can't do it.

I figured that much for the thumbnail.

But having the code for a gif of jpg written directly into the post is another thing. We must find a computer programming wizard. Then we can really have some fun on GLP. :P

You'd have to change GLP's code. They don't permit inserting links or images in posts. Even URLs don't work. You need to copy and paste them. (Yes, FireFox has an extension for this.)
