Hello to our guests

Whenever I log on and check who else is on, there are always some guests. I check to see where they are, and they are on one forum or another. DOn't know who or where they are, though from time to time I know one is the wife keeping tabs on me. (I'm writing this from my other girlfirend's place, don't tell.)

It always runs through my mind to wonder why they came, what they found interesting, and what they found repellent.

When I see something like 200 guests percolated through in a day, I wonder what got them to come. SOme mention on another forum maybe, and then they all have to go look? The FBI maybe? Maybe one of those warrantless visits?

So whoever you might be, what's the deal? I wanna know. And just ignore those guys looking for the Mornington Crescent.

Depending on where I am I don't always log on automatically so some of them are me.

Well since once in a while during the daytime on a Wednesday or Thursday the board sometimes gets guest visits from me, having thus been one I would like to return the greeting.

How do you know? Not like you remember...

Anyhow, on my forum, it takes the collective IP's from similar bots and puts then into one visitor account. So to members it appears that only one visitor is active, but in my panel it has 6-8 bots running around.

Wow. He looks nothing like the pictures that turn up when I run a Google image search for "Googlebot." Maybe he got a haircut and that's what's throwing me off.

I just wish they'd post more often. You'd think a googlebot would have many interesting stories to tell.
