  1. Does the PC at least see the DVD as a drive? Can it read a CD in the DVD drive?
  2. You don't have to pay to activate XP. Just follow the instructions on the activation screen. (Assuming you actually bought the copy you installed.)

had the list of numbers and the number to call 1 888 571 2048
the first 7of9 numbers are 141426,365123,652715,324293,686755,
743692,388481.. so you can test Ms for yourself

Yes it does HELP see the following(s) however

I know the BA can change links. I asked Lance if he could help, and he said...

Quote:
Tell HUb' if he wants to make me a moderator on his board I'll fix it for him. If he doesn't know how, then he could make me an admin. If he doesn't know how to do that, tell him to change his password to "Candy" and I'll log in as him and fix it.

Let me know what you want him or me to do.

a. of course I do ... I try Not too
.2 I do try to get candy to intervene
b, because if shee thinks something is a little "OFF COLOR"
#3 then she can suggest changes
A: to the person who did it
B: Better than nothing
C: can you see as an Aquarian, I'l just try to DUCK the issue

However i'll admitt that i'll be WORKING on that
WITH the probability of some changes in mind

Now about the Moderater issues
WELL my main issue is WEB space {i've only 50 Mbytes} and used it all once
so I tend NOT to moderate at my site .. its too small 4it

I would be glad to moderate a thread here {if that sound REaasonable}

I forgot to up date the Xp tailSo I went to the PAY phone 2 blocks from my 12th ave apt

AFTER i discovered that the first set of numbere i got from Ms did NOT work

BECAUSE when i turned Xp back on there was a new set(9) of code numbers

thus ever time i turned off/on Xp ther were 9 new 6didget numbers

SO I had to leave the Xp running walk two block and dial Ms again

in less than 24 hours the Ms phone numbers had changes so instead
of calling India I had to dial a Mexican(Spanish)? gal and she wanted MY name

naturally I gave it to her {base 28 not Base 26} in Mex not U$ {Comprenda?)?

ok finally I got a connection to the AngelRythem machine
that could not understand that every time a car drove down 12th
i'd give Angle Rythm a new code number

Eventually the Voice over interpreter gave up and I wound up inputting
the CODe on the dial phone key pad.. that DID work and Xp P'd

NEXT after all this I attempted once againto load the DVD driver
Butt ALass again it reported some problem and I should talk to Ms.

Barf: Well I see on te lable it only is for '98 so i'll try it next week
by reverting back to '98 and see if i can DVD from'98 ?

also when i tried clicking D:drive\WINDOWS\win (98) from Xp it didnt
so I assume i've got to boot from floopy? hmm? Very interesting actuall?

I don't think you need a driver for the DVD. I think you need DVD player software, which is different.

Regarding your forums, it's not clear to me if you'd like something from me or not. I am happy to try and help.

HUb' doesn't want moderator help. He was trying to ask me to get in touch with the naughty guest poster. I, unfortunately, cannot help HUb' in that department. Sorry HUb'bie. :(
