Indeed, or "proper fans" as they are correctly known.
Arneb wrote:And except Heid, of course, who can at least be dure that Rangers will always be at least second in the Scottish Premier League.
The Sharks and The Jets, the Ugly Sisters of Scottish football, are pretty much an irrelevance to most of us here. Or, again, "proper fans", as we are correctly known.

But surely being born in the city of the team you support, with a father, grandfather and great grandfather supporting the team back to its formation you qualify as a "proper fan", even if most of the fanbase of your team are bandwagon jumping scum? :D

We have the other Ugly Sister in the cup replay tonight, hopefully this will go better than the last two times we have played them . . .

Aye, don't get me wrong - there are proper fans of the big teams too. But the glory hunters with no ties and who live hundreds of miles away are annoying, especially there are local teams that need their money they could be supporting.

My tame Hun at work predicts a 2-1 victory for your lot over the tattie munchers. I told him I predict 2-0 the other way.

Oh my giddy aunt! England are managing to lose against Ireland despite defending a huge score and getting one of the pigfucker's openers out for a first ball duck. If it wasn't England there would be an enquiry that the result was fixed by the bookies. :D

OK, so maybe there's not quite as much dancing - but the names do fit.

(It's just a nickname, in use around these parts although since I was the first here to coin it, it may not be common elsewhere).

Your Tame Hun exagerates; Whittaker's first booking wasn't a booking but his second was so he had to go, After that the Forces of Darkness were in the ascendancy. They scored a goal, we didn't and it all got a bit out of hand at the end. The ref really wasn't that bad.

Happy days. :D

I wonder what former Maryland Terrapin Maurice Edu makes of it all.

The Windies have already hammered Bangladesh in as one sided a game as you'll see. 30 overs of play required rather than the 100 usually played. Bangla were awful.

PSV tonight, not overly hopeful but the tried and tested 4-5-1 will see us through. High workrate, judicious thuggery, stop them playing and try to nick an away goal.

Ah, the beautiful game . . . :D

Good times, these. Barca is playing the Platonic ideal of football; the Great Satan, for once, loses (AC Milan crash out against legendary football giants Tottenham); German players are sought, hired and actually put on the pitch by international top teams. Even Schalke (SCHALKE!) enjoy success against a Spanish heavyweight. Bayern (on the home front) lose three successive matches for the first time in ten years. Bayern (on the international front) are set to overcome the Small Satan (Inter) after a 1 - 0 away victory.

Hertha are top of the table. OK, second league...

Good luck for your Rangers, Heid. Beat them dang Kaasköppe.

Oh my giddy aunt, Bangla who were awful last time out have just beaten England in a game England had won several times but kept throwing away.

Beer and curry for all to celebrate! :D

This is not an anti-England celebration but Bangladesh have my support based on the quality of their food and the ownership of my favourite Indian (I know, I know) restaurant.
