Scotland play The Peach State at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning, I'm starting to get nervous but that is probably more to do with having far too much caffeine in my system than our chances.

Oh well, that was ugly; at least we won. Ten days to prepare for Argentina which is the crucial game.

And our noble Tongan Brothers fell to the Canuckistanis, damn them. It was actually a good result for Canada.

Yes, the Georgians did a bit better than they did against the Russian army, but still not well enough. I wonder if there are any South Ossetian players?

Now, Namibia, that was just embarrassing.

The Georgian rugby team would probably beat the Russian rugby team though.

Namibia has produced a few good players but they have all played for the Springboks.

Nope, I am a keen follower Celtic's next opponents.

Oh, and if you are a gambling man - you'd get good odds on us to win. And that's because we're going to lose.

Your noble Tongan Borthers avenged themselves on Japan a few days back.

WTF, Ireland beat Australia?

Then Australia 67, USA 5. So it was pretty close :P

England vs. Romania tomorrow, and also New Zealand vs. France. I may try a beach bar for these.

We have a must win against Argentina on sunday morning, I'm not overly hopeful.

Between that and the cycling World Champs it might not be my most productive weekend ever.

So Pool A, the Canuckistanis are the only team that has not played three times.

New Zealand on top (no surprise there) with three wins, France next with two (and one loss). Canada is even on with one/one, Tonga is one/two, and Japan has lost all three. No action until Tuesday, when Japan will keep its perfect record by losing to Canada.

Pool B - England has three wins, Scotland and Argentina each have two wins and one loss. Georgia and Romania have perfect records, with two and three losses, respectively. Scotland will have a chance to take down England Saturday, but first Georgia and Romania will fight Wednesday to see who is the worst.

Pool C - Ireland in the lead with three wins - not what I would have predicted. Australia has two wins and a loss, Italy has a win and a loss, the US has a win and two losses, and Russia has a perfect record of three losses. Italy defeats US on Tuesday.

Pool D - South Africa has three wins, Samoa has two wins and a loss, Wales is one and one, Fiji is one and two, and Namibia has three losses.

Each pool has a three-winner, and each has at least one team that has lost them all :P

And Canuckistan and Japan tied. Way to make a liar out of me, guys

Tomorrow's game is Georgia vs. Romania, which is for pride. They're both out.
