It's usually safe to assume that Austria play in the "always fuck up" league, but their Disgusting Soda Pop FC beat our Disgusting soda Pop FC, twice, so who knows.

Hertha away to Hannover, who fucked up a lot this season, so they won't against Hertha.

Fürth away to the top team, Cologne. Not much in the cards for this end of the Cannel tunnel, then. Scotland, take over!

Did we ever have a 0/12 pt- weekend? Sounds like it's going to happen eventually.

Fürth a man and two goals down minutes into the second half. No surprises on that front.

Four-nil down, and more than 20 min left to play. Greuther Chuffing Fürth in the slaughterhouse.

1. FC Köln 4 - 0 SpVgg Greuther Fürth

I guess it's OK to lose away to the top promotion contender, but 0-4, gee. The only biting back came from committing fouls, and so we ended the match with 10 players.

Played 89, won 45, drawn, 25, lost 19

Hannover 96 0 - 2 Hertha BSC
Now that could have been a lot worse...

Absolutely, and it's also 20 points for Hertha 4 games from the halfway mark, so we are ahead of what we need for non-relegation. With Frankfurt, Aughsburg, Stuttgart and Nuremburg, we have one heavyweight and three relegation cadidates. MMAYBE that is good news.

And congrats, Ross Glorious County.

Ross Glorious County indeed.

Hertz 1 - 2 Rangers

Our winner may have been offside and we finished with ten men, yet again.

Played 92, won 48, drawn 25, lost 19.

BREAKING news from weaselland:

1 - Europe will suffer a third-tier European Club competition - the wee Euro Leage, if you will, from 2021. It will go like this: Champions League is unchanged, starting with 8 groups of 4 clubs. European League will be cut down from 48 to 32, starting in the 8x4 format as well. So will the new Euro League 2. The 8 third-placed CL teams will play a second group stage with the 8 second-placed EL teams (4x4), before the knock-out stage starts with 16 teams. Likewise, third-placed EL teams will play second-placed EL2 teams in a 4x4 group stage for a place in the round of last 16. By the current FIFA ranking, Germany will gain one place in EL2, which will be the 7th-placed Bundesliga contender (after 1 k.o. round of qualification). Sorry, I didn't look up Scotland. So, more opportunities to dally away time in front of the telly, and more chances for fuck-up artists like Hertha to celebrate their art abroad - maybe in Scotland? I'll seee to it that IRU board members have free lodge and board on their away journeys, should their teams be hosted here! How is this not a reason to celebrate?

2 - Qualification groups for the 2020 European Championships have been drawn. The interesting ones for this board:
Group C:
Kaasköppe
'Schland
Norn Iron
Talk almost, but not quite, unlike Fins
Mini-Soviet Unionists

Group I:
Fritten munchers
Putin
Couldn't even manage to break away from fucking Westminster, can you believe it!
Wealthy Russians tax haven
Oil, Rockets
Those Italian guys that always lose

There are ten qualification groups. First two teams in every group qualify directly for the Euro 2020. the 4 (out of 10) best third-placed teams tough it out in play-off in March.

For those across the Pond, try to identify the countries from tha slander alone. On request, I'd include Group A, with England, but Richard A proudly does not support any sports team; I'd also include the group with the European country of which Mactep is a citizen, but AFAIK, he hasn't told us which one that is.

It is a reason for optimism, but also a way for UEFA to keep the riff raff out of the elite competition.

Group C:

That is probably the strongest group, as long as two go through you should be fine.

Group I:

Eh, not hopeful, but we do have our playoff spot booked. Which we'll likely lose.

Hasn't anyone told them that htey are professional footballers, not professional wrestlers? This seems like a deficit in coaching and in disciplinary standards within the club.

Our coach is that noted stylist Steven "The Scouser" Gerrard who at least has them playing like they care. Our striker is a complete arse who gets booked for a mixture of violence and petulance all while thinking he should have won the Ballon d'Or.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth 0 - 5 FC Erzgebirge Aue

At home, to the 12th of the table. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

Played 94, won 48, drawn 25, lost 21.

Hertha at home to Frankfurt, two places and three points ahead of us. Could, and probably will be, a so-called six-pointer. For them.

Anything more encouraging from North Britain?

Big "phew" fromhere, because

Hertha BSC 1 - 0 SG Eintracht Frankfurt

Played 95, won 48, drawn 26, lost 21

Nice because they had a clear penalty disallowed :D/

You're right with the count. I posted on my mobile, and I am really not good at it. Desk chair, PC, and a physical keyboard is what I like. And there is ample space for wine and crackers on my desk, in case you were wondering.

Dundee (that's Dungdee, right?) can send for the fat lady.

Dungdee indeed. When I was a lad Dundee were the big team and Dundee United were the wee team in the city. Latterly they have been more of a rival for RCC but have staged something of a revival lately and are in the top division now.

Half an hour in and it’s one all. Their goal came from a player who was “too old” for us and they’ve had a man sent off.
