Lillie 0 - 0 Rangers in the Cup.

We missed a penalty and didn’t play well. Replay at the ‘brox in a couple of weeks.

Played 128, won 61, drawn 35, lost 32.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth 1 - 0 SV Darmstadt 98
Big deal, against a perennial relegation contender

Borussia Mönchengladbach 0 - 3 Hertha BSC
I just can't get over my Hertha. After all the shitty matches they've played, they thrash the second-placed team which had enjoyed a 12-match home victory series. Hertha are now the only team in the League not to have lost against the three leading teams in the League.

Played 130, won 63, drawn 35, lost 32.

Good old Hertha, that is a great victory. Of course next week when you’re at home to the bottom club . . .

BtW, Stig of the Dump - ist that for Queen of the South? I've always thought the term had to be phonetic in origin, but "South" doesn't sound like "Local Derby" for Lianachan to me.

To score, yes. To concede, less so. Was a good game, and great to see RCC on the telly machine.

Indeed, we’re turning into Graham Norton! I was at the match tonight. We could have done with Graham Norton in midfield. Team mostly of reserves, one of which scored directly from a corner which you don’t see every day. Management didnt seem to take the match very seriously, especially considering it was a cup semi-final. It’s quite something when the most entertaining thing in the match, by miles, was the opposition supporters, who were very funny indeed. Still....

Ross County 2- 1 East Fife

Played 132, won 64, drawn 36, lost 32.

And a cup final to look forward to. We could still do a treble!*

* We won’t.

I would also have accepted Zoe Ball as an answer.

As a man who works in west Fife, fuck those easterners!

I have a bad felling about this weekend.

Hertha at home tonight to a direct competitor looking at a chance for next year's Europena tour - they usually fuck up in those situations.
Fürth away to a strong team tomorrow, Holstein Kiel.

Could well be all balls from this side of the Channel.

Hertha BSC 1 - 1 SV Werder Bremen

Ah tohld ya soh! Equalizer for Bremen in the 97th minute, Claudio Pizarro becoming the oldest player evah to score in the Bundesliga, at 40 ys, 136 days. Oh Bravo
"One minute to go, we have a throw-in, and they equalize. That was too easy", the coach remarked. +1

Played 133, won 64, drawn 37, lost 32.

The free lick bounced off two Hertha defenders to slip between the arms of the goalie. Of course.

TSV Holstein Kiel 2 - 2 SpVgg Greuther Fürth

Not bad away to a decent side that has an eye on the promotion spots. But again, a late equalizer against us at the 94th

Played 135, won 64, drawn 39, lost 32

So we’ve experienced both sides of the late equaliser this last few days. I prefer mine.

I didn’t realise until today that the player described at the age of 15, by Pele, as the next Pele - Nii Lamptey - had played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. His story is a sad one, and he’s a cautionary tale about putting too much pressure on talented young players.

I never saw him he was there shortly before I started visiting matches there (We moved to Fürth in '03). A very important cautionary tale indeed.
