Spain against Germany, six goals to love.
This is epic. We never had six goals scored against us in 89 years (that was Austria, if you must know). We wanted to play strong teams, in order to see where our Die Mannschaft Reconstruction Project stands. Well, we have our answer now.
If I were Jogi Löw, I'd leave. He runs a heavy risk of producing two big-tournament big fuckups in a row. After a brilliant World Championship and 6 tournaments in a row with semifinal participation at least (something no national side in the world has ever done, IIRC), he doesn't deserve to have such a humiliating ending. Call it quits with a straight face, let a new guy take over, let him try to avert the worst in '21, and go on from there.
