The March 7 Six Nations rugby match between Ireland and Italy will be played in about 31 hours.

Italy and Wales are already eliminated; they cannot win the tournament.

In theory, Ireland can survive any outcome in this match. But realistically, they need to win, preferably with the bonus point.

Scotland are theoretically still alive, but the road to a Scottish victory in this tournament is a long and exceedingly improbable one. If Ireland win with the bonus point, Scotland are eliminated.

France and England still have a decent chance. In fact, I would say an English victory is the most likely outcome at this point. Then Ireland, then France. And then way behind, Scotland.
