Meanwhile in the English league Bury have gone bust and been thrown out, with Bolton looking likely to follow. While I have sympathy for the supporters they were happy to mortgage the future for wins now. In Bury's case they won promotion last year with a team they couldn't afford, someone else lost out by operating within their budget. I suspect more will follow.

Operating within a budget is so 20th century. Get yourself a sheikh, or an oligarch, and all will be shiny.
