Heid, any opinion from you on the TdF and the surprise in the end? I take it for granted that anyone who does anything in cycling is heavily doped. If that is true, it makes for a perverse kind of equality in the peloton, and that, in turn, would make Saturday's feat very remarkable Having said that I'm willing to be convinced otherwise. I know you love cycling, so anything on that subject from you?

A bit of a stunner as I’m a Jumbo Visma fan. These things happen but I was surprised by how much he won by. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out he’s on something new.

Might be pretty crap on the pitch, but Ross County do nice thing.

I’ve been a keen supporter and going to games since they were an amateur team outside the football leagues, but even though we’re sitting at the top table with the big boys these days it still has that nice feeling of a wee club, rooted in the community.

A lot of people have doubts, not least because the winner's team manager doped as a rider.
