Friends missing

Postby Enzo » Sat Oct 13, 2007 3:54 am

Hmmm. I have looked high and low, and I've driven up and down the streets, but it seems 11 of my closest girlfriends are missing. I can't find them anywhere. Baffles me...

Have you checked the trunk of your wife's car?

You have no idea what you just said.....

As a matter of fact, she most likely does know some of them, and a whole lot better than I do.

On behalf of Enzo and his lawyer who has been ... detained ... I point out that there is absolutely no connection, real or implied, between this and the following post ...

The next day I encountered a Lansing cop in the gas station getting a soda. I asked him, "So how do you file a missing persons report? It seems 11 of my closest girlfriends are missing and I can't find them." Took the guy a second, then he smiled and said he had the same problem...

I told the wife about this and she said, "No. Tell me you did NOT say that to the policeman! I don't want to be getting the call from the jail asking for bail money."

Sorry dear, I certainly did.

Thanks, I wondered if that thread was related, but still didn't make the connection.

Sorry. The threads started out one right after the other, though I shoulda supposed they wouldn't stay in that position. The idea was you read the one and then follow with the next. Sigh, it was a concept piece.

Actually it started as a joke to my wife. She didn't get it either. I had assumed she was following the news, but she had not heard of the arrests yet.

The whole reason I brought up the arrests with the other thread was to set up the joke in the first place.
