Three-page report due in 9 days...

...on some area of information technology. I don't even know what what I want to do it on; maybe the Domain Name System, maybe quantum computing.

I hate being an indecisive procrastinator.

The only thing good about this is that it can be double-spaced. Heh.

How about overseas outsourcing? You could subtitle it: "Why it SUX to be in I.T. in the Twenty-First Century".

On the BABB, there was a discussion about outsourcing foreigners on a cruise ship near California. It was a different twist on keeping money in the USA. Well, I thought it was interesting.

We outsource to India, Canada, and now Poland.

We closed our Dublin Reservation office, and our Mexico Customer Relations office. We still have Mexico Reservations, which is much needed for Central and South America.

Strange how the world is changing from a language "shift" point of view. Since former communistic countries are changing to a somewhat democratic society, they are gaining the market for air travel. Same goes for the Middle East.

We created or expanded markets in China, Korea, Vietnam, and Japan, too.

FOLLOW THE MONEY.

I'm just glad I'm around to see the changes, so I can tell your grandchildren. :)

I also like the call routing for incoming calls to big businesses. I work in a Call Center type atmosphere. I'm going for some Genesys training next month to get certified in FRO (no idea what it means). If it helps me learn how to manipulate the call routing scheme, then I'm happy. If it allows me to do SQL for nuisance callers, then I'm happy. I hate this phase state of filtering out the old, and not knowing the new. :?
