Stalking Papa

Off-Topic conversations about what ever you feel like talking about.

Do you ever feel like you just don't fit in the family?

My mother's mother, Dororthy, on her death bed, age 90, told her oldest daughter that she was her father's brother's baby.

This family, on the Cornell side, is just messed up totally.

[edited, because the grandmother had an older son that wasn't the husband's baby, either]

I've got people in my family, not immediate family thank god, that would be too much for the Springer show. I know how you feel.

She's got no prospects down there she's just doing because she has problems with our mother. If she moves there I will still do what I can to make sure she doesn't ruin them completely. I've already worked it out so I can make it down there every couple of weeks and visit with them on the weekends. Just got to get a more economical car to make the trips tho.

That's sweet. Trust me, those kids will remember you. Not that you travelled a great distance to see them, but they will remember you for that goofy uncle that you are. :D

Not so much an uncle as an indentured servant. They call me their Dude, my nephew started calling me that as soon as he could talk and it stuck. Every friday is Dude day. We go out and eat, always Mcdonalds or Burger King, then to a movie or some other activity then to Toys r us to look around. Then during the weekend we go swimming or whatever as time allows.

You're joking, right. No it's chicken nuggets all the way. They would eat chicken nuggets 3 times a day if you let them.

Got to get ready for work. If you think of anything else I might be able to help you with just post it here and I'll check it in the morning when I get home. Otherwise, good luck with your search.

You're cute, but I'm still going to think about Ralph Shanabarger. According to ZABA, he was born in 1949. He would have been 17 when I was born. My mother was 21.

Thanks Mr. Manly, knowing he's not in prison means a lot. I just wonder where he is - is he dead?

Candy, have you tried contacting the authoraties or newspapers in Bremman? They may be able to point you in the right direction.
