I got to see Billy Boyd last night...

If you don't know, Billy Boyd is the actor who played Pippin in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performed The Lord of the Rings Symphony and he made his world debut there, singing his solo from The Return of the King.

Seeing as how it was a mere 30 seconds or so out of a 2½ hour concert, I'm surprised they even got him out here, and while I didn't actually get to meet him, it was still pretty cool. :)

The music and the other 3 soloists were awesome, too. :)
