We Boys And Our Toys

Postby Dragon Star » Sun Nov 30, 2008 2:15 am

Yup, I finally broke down and bought a Motorcycle. 8) 2009 Harley V-Rod Muscle, and to me at least, it whips the Llamas ass. I have to get my Notary put on my License and viola, I'm hittin' the road.

Better pictures coming soon. (my image quality is reduced when I send images to myself via E-Mail, figures)

Yea, but your riding on the back, no exceptions. :P :P :P

I didn't notice until after taking the picture I could have made it look like she was riding the one I bought. Missed opportunity...damn.

::sigh:: Great, now I have to worry about you and a motorcycle. WEAR A FULL-HEAD HELMET and don't do anything stupid. Watch out for cars, because we don't always see bikes, even if we're watching for them.

Belay that, DS.

Be young and stupid and pick up chicks while you still can.

I dunno, DS, the bike looks nice, but isn't the girl a little... small?

Or are bikes larger than I recall these days?

I was young and stupid and picked up chicks for a long time.

But now it's over.

And I miss it.

Well, I was always the dork no chick even looked at. I am better off today, so no reason for me to miss anything. But then, I never rode bikes.

I bought Harley's Modular helmet (full face but converts to a 3/4 helmet with the push of a button), I like the ability to rotate the entire front upward for speaking. :)

I don't care how stupid he is when stationary. I just don't want him hurt in a mva. Well, and I'd prefer he were safe when he's "stupid" with chicks, too. Protection on the bike and off!

Yeah, a helmet and a glove.

What are those things made of, latex?

Or do Harley riders "do it wearing leather?"

I'm just not that kind of guy TA, just ask Dom, there is something wrong with me. :P But I appriciate the concern, and I'll do my best to not be in a MVA, or a SVA for that matter.

And avoid the EVAs.

Even just a Little EVA and you are mashed potatoes.

Many dozens of women, several bikes, never used protection for either and came through it all just fine.

But you shouldn't do that, DS. It's stupid.

I just got a mental image of a guy who looks like Quasimodo, with a bad case of leprosy, speaking.

Kind of like a Gahan Wilson cartoon ...

That actually is the other interpretation that occurred to me. I wasn't completely sure it was what you meant though. But yes, you don't want to take an unplanned EVA from the motorcycle.

Hence the mashed potatoes.

And the song of the same name by Little Eva.

It all tied together somehow in my mind.
