"Yanking Doodle Candy" :P

Okay, I just went to the liquor store to get some smokes and water. They gave me a bunch of those blow-up advertisements. I got Coronita Extra (never heard of), Smirnoff Ice (2 flavors), and Sam Adams Light. I have no idea where to put them, but they are cool. 8)

The Indian gentleman said I am his favorite customer. I know he was kidding, but it was a nice gesture. :D

Should be fixed now. I'm not sure why that happened.

Good question. He's been missing-in-action for some time now.

And he wanted to be a sex slave. I didn't force it on him. Maybe it was the Bubba joke?

I believe that is a different Disinfo Agent...

But a lot of people are leaving here. I think we've had our moment in the Sun and don't have enough real content to keep people interested.

I hope we can hit 10,000 posts before it dies completely.

Oh, don't be so negative, Lance -- I think we have a good shot 12,000 before the end. :D

hmmm....maybe we should start a pool as to when and how IRU will meet it's bitter fate.

Well, given that Lance gets to pull the plug whenever he likes, I don't think I want to bet against him...

The board does have something of an identity issue, though - it seems to me mainly a place where a specific collection of people, who found the site by varying means, get together and talk about whatever they feel like, with no real unifying theme. I'm new at this, though, I don't really have a good sense for what it takes for a board to take off...

Oh, don't get me wrong... I certainly have no desire to pull the plug. It doesn't cost me anything to keep it going until I have to renew the domain name in a year, and that's only like 9 bux.

Well in that case, it can run forever - it's just a question of whether anyone will still be posting :)

What kind of conversation will we be having here in 2035? We could have a pool on that :D

I love it here. I try to keep it active with the occasional visits to GLP. Hey, I haven't done that in a while.

My work and sleep schedule is just so screwed up now. It's hard to hang out like I normally would. When I do have time, nobody's around. :(

Yeah, I noticed that. I saw this morning that it would do it today. Cool...

I guess misdirected and purposeless isn't so bad after all.
