Pepsi

DON'T BUY PEPSI IN THE NEW CAN:

Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the
Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them.
However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under God."
Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone.

In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate
office, either. So they won't be offended when they don't receive our money
that has the words, "In God We Trust" on it.

HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD THIS ONE?

I just got this email from an old high school buddy. Is this true?

Apparently not

snopes wrote:Although there once was some truth to the item quoted above, the information it contains is long outdated and never had anything to do with Pepsi or Coca-Cola. Neither soda company is producing, or has ever produced, redesigned cans bearing any portion of the Pledge of Allegiance or an image of the Empire State Building. This issue concerns a special patriotic can design produced by Dr Pepper back in November 2001, a can which was marketed for a limited time and has been off of store shelves for three years now (since February 2002).

I used to live one town over from Lance. Now I live in exile in central New Jersey, so I fly through Washington a lot. The new United commuter terminal (what is it, G) resembles a bus station. No fun. It is much better to fly through Chicago. Often I fly from Allentown PA, even though I am much closer to either Philadelphia or Newark, because it is a smaller airport and it is less aggravating. They used to fly JetStream 41s from there, those were horrible. CRJ is much better. Nothing beats upper deck on a 747, though...

I like the CRJ's - United Express. The 50 seater I flew down to Florida was a very smooth ride. The flight attendant was funny, too. 8)

Those are very quiet. They're a little slow, though...I guess the longest route I flew on one was DEN->YEG.

Canada! Dang, boy, you sure get around. I hope you're drinking Pepsi or Coke. To tell you the truth, I have no idea what we serve on our flights. I'm always drinking the harder stuff.

Come to think of it, at World Head Quarters, all the Coke machines were pulled out and replaced by Pepsi. This was after I transferred from Indianapolis to Elk Grove Village - 2001. Wow, how times flies.

That's because Pepsi contains mind control chemicals, and this is a more efficient delivery mechanism than spraying them from airplanes :D (and also, it is self-financing)

I used to have a satellite image saved to my web space, but I can't find it now. HQ is huge. I work in the South Building. Our department (Reservations Planning) is getting moved closer to the bigwig's office by the end of the year. 8)
