Really Vivid Dream

Postby hippietrekx » Wed Feb 17, 2010 5:09 pm

I just had a really vivid dream that I was in my intermediate mechanics and quantum mechanics classes.

Then I woke up. And I had missed those two classes.

Man...

Ooh, maybe you were really there, but not fully conscious, and integrated your experiences into your dream. After class, you just went back to bed and woke up there.

Or maybe not.

Well, you've got me beat, anyway. I used to go to class and dream about sleeping.

I just had a really vivid dream too. I dreamed that the place where I work was interviewing people for a job, and they made an offer to the number one, primo, total el sucko candidate.

Oh wait, that actually happened.

I usually dislike the really vivid dreams - I wake up with all the emotions of the dream.

From time to time, I still have the dream where it's the last day of exams, and I suddenly realize that I'm missing the final exam for a course that I need for graduation, but never attended.

I enjoy vivid dreams. The ones I really don't like are the ones where I can't keep my eyes open.

Got bad news for you guys. Those "missing exams" type dreams don't go away even when it's been 20+ years you've been out of school.

Although, my recurrent dream lately has been that I went back to my old job. Yech.

Yep - I have both of those dreams, too, TA! Kind of odd seeing as how long it's been for both of those parts of my life and the fact that I never did miss class like that.
Is there such a thing?

Yeah, I've been away from my old company for 12 years or so now. And out of school for...more. :D

I don't believe that - you did not graduate at the age of 17. :D

You're still a puppy ... and just as cute!

How's that for shameless flirting on the internet?

Yep - you win this one, too.

However, the truth is Mactep, we're ALL in love with you! Doesn't matter who we are or what our sexuality is - we all are crazy for you.

There. I said it. And now Lance will have to live with the consequences.

I've had a recurring dream lately, too...

I solve physics except for the Solid Angle... but then some guy comes around and solves solid angle and steals all of my work and gets the Nobel Prize.

And I wake up pissed every time. I've had this dream between 5 and 10 times now...
