While looking for info on the Bourne Identity I came accross this. I thought I was picky.

Oh, yes, there is a special breed of "movie fan" who finds great pleasure in looking for mistakes.

THIS must be the famous "living in mama's basement at 40" species I had not otherwise met yet.

I would keep in mind that these mistakes were most likely found by many different people.

Sometimes the mistakes can be quite jarring. I suppose for some folks that would include where snow is and foot prints and so on.

I recall that in Jagged Edge, there's a courtroom scene where Glenn Close's characters clothes change from scene to scene. And in some cowboy film (can't remember the name) with Billy Zane, in the first part of the film, he gets injured in his eye and has to wear an eye patch. I understand that if you can actually see out of the eye, wearing an eye patch can be quite uncomfortable. But still, in the pivotal "bad guy vs. good guy" ending fight, Zane's eye patch is often up, revealing a perfectly good eye.

Being an eye-challenged person (nothing that can't be corrected or otherwise dealt with), I am frequently subjected to a glaucoma screening test that is known colloquially as "the fishbowl". Cover one eye with a patch, put your head inside the "fishbowl", and push a little button whenever you see a light flash anywhere inside the fishbowl.

Sounds pretty simple, right? Everyone I know who has been through this hates the fishbowl passionately. One person breaks out in a cold sweat before going through it.

So I guess that would tend to confirm your statement :)

I get to do that at least once a year, hate it less than the photos of the optiic nerve (once a year, too, not same trip) dilated eyes staring into bright light and several flash photos.

Vaguely reminescent of the smart arsed, and yet bleeding obvious, "reviews" by the Bad Astronomer.
