Happy St Andrew's Day

Postby Lianachan » Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:12 pm

St Andrew's Day today - not that anybody, even in this country where he's our patron saint, gives the tiniest shit. Even here, St Patrick's Day is usually a bigger deal. Albeit due to the promotion that one receives from the US and from the booze industry.

It receives some attention in our house, mainly because it is my birthday. :D Curry and beer all round!

The Scottish Executive was closed on monday for the St Andrew's Day holiday, a holiday they refuse to make a public holiday.
