All my interviews are completed and transcribed.

I've rewritten the first four chapters and edited them down to about 32,000 words in total (minus appendices).

Just the discussion chapter and the intro & conclusion chapters to go (and then stick it all together)

Indeed, you have correctly identified the headquarters of the KGB. Regarding spelling, it is transliterated, so I guess you can spell it how you like :)
