Posted: Fri Apr 06, 2018 7:57 amThe fucking BBC - Gold Coast Commies edition: In the Commie Games yesterday the BBC commentator was describing the action in the men's triathlon where two of the favourites were the Brownlee brothers of England. The lead group of six contained them, a Scot, an Aussie, a Kiwi and a Saffer. The commentator described it as good for Britain, which it was, but he meant England; so when realised he meant England he changed to that. So either he didn't know the Scot was there or didn't care enough about him include him. I laughed when the Scot came third and the English guys were nowhere.

Posted: Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:17 amI've been avoiding the Empire Games, as I have no interest in the sports thereof - plus, of course, Claire Fucking Balding and the sort of thing you've just reported. I was dismayed to find Mrs Lianachan watching it when I got home from work last night.

I would direct my learned friend to the netball, which is an uplifting thing to watch while eating one's muesli. This came immediately after watching an Englishman get punched repeatedly in the face in the boxing. I have no idea who won the bout but an Englishman was repeatedly punched in the face so in the great scheme of things we all won.

BBC Asian Network news covered the SNP policies this morning and pointed out each time the segment was broadcast that the SNP are the third largest party at Westminster. They obviously haven't got the memo that the SNP must never be mentioned. The fact their news is much less shite is one of the reasons I listen to them. The other is how relentlessly cheerful the music is, I have no idea what they are singing about though.
