WOOHOO!!! I love this shit as long as nobody gets hurt.

Lots of wind, lightning and rain. We are under a severe thunderstorm warning. 8)

My family goes nuts but I like it :)

I didn't get the camera but did have the camcorder running. Will go through it when the storm is over.

Maybe I'll get to use registax finally to put together some good images.

I grew up in San Diego, and never realized the joy of a good thunderstorm until I was an adult and moved to Michigan.

Come to think of it, if one loves weather as I do, San Diego is the WORST place to live.

I love a good thunderstorm, but almost every line that's passed through my area so far has been a disappointment. They roll through late at night and usually weaken significantly before doing so. Bummer.

Take this incoming line, which is the same one Nighthawk experienced. It gets me all excited to see, but it'll probably be nothing but light rain, or scattered storms, by the time it gets to me (I live somewhere under the I-70 symbol). Stupid mountains to the east.

The edge of the same storm front is now moving through the Dayton area.

Thank for the warning, nighthawk.

EDIT - Just got a severe thunderstorm warning on the TV.

We got hit pretty hard for about half an hour. My back yard is a mess and we lost a good sized limb in the horse pasture.

No real damage around here though. A few trees in the county down and some traffic lights out in town.

I will probably look at my video tomorrow, getting late now and have to get up early for work :(

When I was ten years old I climbed up on our roof to
watch the remnants of Hurricane Camille arrive in
Memphis. The storm spawned 7 tornados that night,
and I got my ass whipped good for climbing on the
roof. I love a good storm.

Also, have you ever noticed that every time they
have a show about storm chasers there is almost
always an amature who's a postal worker on vacation?

Things that make ya go hmmmmm.:glp_(117):
