This year, a change.

Usually, the big unveil of the annual Enzo gift is done at Christmas, at his sisters. After an entire day of unwrapping and oohing and ahhhing over gifts, my inlaws open their special gift from Santa and Enzo heaves a big sigh of despair. It's all good.

This year, however, we're not going (long story). So I had to figure something else out. I realized that some of the fun, for me, was the public nature of it. So, for the in laws, I sent them packages, including a 'special gift from Santa', which they could open whenever, but not to discuss w/each other until they know the other has seen it.

But for Enzo? Well, in about an hour and a half, there's the monthly church dinner here at 'the home', with the younger set of church people. We like them. (we only hit the other church dinner once). So, later on, we'll head down to the community room w/the other folks here, and the church folks, who, if all goes well and people remember that they promised to deliver...

Will wear or have hanging from their walkers, this years Enzo item: A luggage tag "Hey, that's MY bag!" I have a pic of it, but it's on my computer, haven't been able to figure out how to link up to one like that here.
:glp-applause:

yeah, well most folk forgot it, but enough remembered and when he finally saw it, he got his traditional "god I hate her" face on. So, it was all good.

We wouldn't know it was you unless you had the tag.

I knew you would do that. I knew it 20 minutes ago.

Then why did it take an hour and 20 minutes to reply?

I wanted to heighten the anticipation.
