Eek, a mouse

I like visual humor. And a while back, I put a plain old spring mouse trap outside my apartment door, and trapped in it was the wire "tail" of a mouse - a computer mouse. I find it hilarious my own self. The lady next door saw it and knocked on my door, "Did your wife drop her cell phone?" At least the lady across the hall got it.

But lately other mice have joined in. One sort of foam pet toy mouse was mysteriously added to the trap - not by me. Then a little plastic mouse came along. Turns out it is a companion piece to a plastic robot pet toy. And now today yet another fabric mouse. My trap has so far collected four mice. I may need to put out a second trap just for capacity.

And I do not know who is adding mice.

yeah, we do. On our door, we still have the pic of Ben Franklin and a (now patriotic, not Christmas) wreath - 'cause it's "A wreath A Franklin", and the crime scene tape is still across the entrance to our kitchen (we put it there just prior to the annual inspection)
